The festival, headlined by Janet Jackson, Charlie Wilson and The O’Jays, will take place July 21-23, with an opening night performance by BJ the Chicago Kid at the Andrew J Brady Music Center. The rest of the event will take place at Paul Brown Stadium. Find the full lineup at cincymusicfestival.com.

“We are excited to be back, bringing the best acts back to Cincinnati for the 2022 Cincinnati Music Festival presented by P&G,” said festival producer Joe Santangelo in a release. “We will abide by any federal, local and state health guidelines that might be in place at that time, as our priority is to keep everyone safe. We will release more information as we get closer to the dates.”

The Cincinnati Music Festival has been around since 1962, and a study by the UC Economics Center shows that the fest provides a $107.4 million economic impact to the region, according to the press release.
A star-studded lineup for the 2020 Cincinnati Music Festival was announced in February of 2020, however, in May it was postponed until 2021 due to COVID-19. Then in March of 2021, the festival was rescheduled again due to similar concerns. This time, it looks like it may stick.
Tickets for the 2022 Cincinnati Music Festival are on sale now through ticketmaster.com or by contacting the festival office at 513-924-0900.
