Covering the impact of coronavirus on the sports world
The Premier League is back in action this Saturday.
Manchester City will be looking for their home-pitch advantage to help them even up the season series with Tottenham Hotspur. They will face off against one another at 12:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Etihad Stadium. Man City has a defense that allows only 0.56 goals per game, so Tottenham’s offense will have their work cut out for them.
Man City kept a clean sheet against Norwich City on Saturday and took the matchup 4-0. The score was close at the half, but Man City pulled away in the second half with three goals.
Meanwhile, Spurs came up short against Wolverhampton on Sunday, falling 2-0.
In the teams’ previous meeting last August, Man City and Tottenham were neck-and-neck, but Man City came up empty-handed after a 1-0 defeat. Maybe Man City will have more luck at home instead of on the road? Watch the game and check back on CBS Sports for all the details.
